Breaking Enigmas.

Isostatic Platforms builds the systems required to solve problems that currently have no known method. We work at the boundary between what is understood and what is inevitable.

Field 01 — Compression

01 / Enigma

A problem without a method.

An Enigma, as we use the word, is not merely a hard problem. It is a problem for which no accepted solution exists — not in literature, not in industry, not in the adjacent sciences. The work begins before there is a brief.

Most organizations are structured to optimize what is already possible. We are structured to convert the unknown into the operable. That conversion is slow, exacting, and rarely linear. It is the only work we take.

02 / How we work

Equal pressure. Software, hardware, and intelligence as one field.

01

Unsolved first

We do not start from a product category. We start from a problem that has no known solution, and we stay with it until a system exists.

02

Whole systems

Code without hardware, hardware without software, intelligence without an interface — each is a partial answer. We build the field, not the fragment.

03

Inevitable progress

The work is not to invent novelty. It is to arrive, with precision, at the systems that the problem itself requires.

04 / Subsidiary

Wise Guides designs the surfaces people actually use.

Where Isostatic Platforms works on the unsolved, Wise Guides works on the experienced. It is our practice for bespoke, high-end interface design — commissioned independently, without requiring a research program.
